The road has taught me a lot over the years. It has taught me about freedom, responsibility, perseverance, faith, and the importance of making every mile count. Those lessons became the foundation of The Road Taught Me, and today I’m excited to announce the next step in that journey: the official opening of The Road Taught Me Merch Store.

Built Around the Mission of the Channel

As a retired police motor officer, former accident investigator, and current MSF RiderCoach, I’ve spent much of my life around motorcycles and the people who ride them. I’ve experienced the freedom of the open road, but I’ve also seen firsthand how quickly life can change.

After nearly losing my life in a motorcycle crash caused by a distracted driver, riding took on a much deeper meaning for me. The road became part of my recovery and eventually helped lead me toward a new purpose: helping other riders become safer, smarter, and more confident.

That mission remains at the heart of The Road Taught Me. Through rider education, road trips, motorcycle reviews, safety discussions, personal stories, and lessons grounded in faith, I hope the channel encourages people to become better riders while appreciating every opportunity they have to ride.

The merchandise store is another extension of that mission.
